Mudita - An Alliance for Giving brings together multiple donors and beneficiaries across our 3 main program areas of 1. College scholarships, 2. Medical care for cancer and ophthalmic care and 3. Food distribution or Annadaan.

Raising Funds For
Funds raised through TMM 2024 will go towards the Mudita medical treatment program. Under our program we support treatment and related costs for cancer patients as well as those in need of eye care. We work in partnerships with doctors as well as charitable hospitals as part of this program.
Currently patients covered under out cancer program are limited by criteria set out by our donor partner. We would like to expand the program to pediatric and youth patients as well as the elderly.
In addition, funds raised would help with greater number of eye surgeries, especially for women whos needs often relegated to the backburner for a want of funds. Surgeries supported by Mudita ensure a quick return to routine and livelihood for the patients with in fact greater vigour and a better quality of life.

| Project Description | Funds raised during TMM 2023 have been directed towards pediatric oncology treatment costs. This is an ongoing project and so far we have supported 2 young boys from farmer families in rural Mahashtra with their treatment and will use the remaining funds for other such patients.
We received a total amount of Rs 602750 from TMM 2023 and have utilised Rs 200000 so far. The balance amount will also be used towards pediatric patients in need of medical care. |

| Beneficiary Description | Funds raised from TMM 2023 have been directed towards pediatric oncology treatment cost. All of the beneficairies are young children, some even younger than 1 year old. |
| Impact | Medical support for the young patients has significantly improved the young boy's quality of life. In case of the 9-year old boy, it has been life saving as the sarcoma was spreading fast and a limb amputation was recommended to prevent the cancer from spreading.
For the young toddler, the funds ensured he got the liver surgery he required.
Cost of the treatment in both cases has been at the minimal possible with regular consultation with the oncologists and surgeons to ensure reduction in their fees as well as medication cost. |
