At TEACH, we are dedicated to breaking down barriers and opening doors of opportunity for deaf individuals. Our mission is clear: to provide a comprehensive education and vocational training program that equips our students with the skills they need to excel in the professional world.
Education Beyond Limits: We offer a robust BCom program tailored to the unique needs of our students. Our experienced faculty members use innovative teaching methods to ensure that our students receive a high-quality education in a supportive and inclusive environment. We believe that education should be accessible to all, regardless of hearing ability.
Skills That Transform: In addition to academic education, we are committed to honing practical skills. We offer training in various fields, including arts and design, accounts, and management information systems (MIS). These skills not only enhance employability but also empower our students to pursue their passions.
Transitioning to Employment: Our ultimate goal is to prepare our students for the workforce. Through partnerships with various firms and organizations, we facilitate job placements for our graduates. Raising Funds For
COVID has impacted everyone with our students being no exception. With more than 60% of our students coming from financially weaker societal section of Greater Mumbai, this year has been extra difficult for us at TEACH to keep them in College studying online and preparing for their board/university exams. Of all the 115 students we have this year, we have seen a spike of more than 40% YoY of families unable to borne their educational expenses. This has greatly stressed our funds along with losing out on the approved CSR grants for COVID relief. The funds raised will be used in the operational expenses of the hearing impaired students - Fees to the Maharashtra Board, University of Mumbai admission, Remuneration of teachers, etc. that will help us survive the remaining year.
