World Immunization Week is an annual health campaign coordinated by the World Health Organization (WHO) and celebrated in the last week of April to promote the role of vaccination in protecting people of all ages from diseases. United Way Mumbai marked World Immunization Week by conducting various health awareness sessions for parents, Anganwadi workers and ASHA workers in Karjat and Panvel on the importance of immunization and vaccines in preventing diseases and promoting good health.
