Raising Funds for
Aajivika - sustainable livelihood development program
Aajivika programs adopts the groups of artisans within the slum communities with an aim to develop their production unit within the community for self-employment and/or entrepreneurship. A customised plan is made as per the communities needs analysis that includes activities like upskilling training, workshops on business acumen and holistic development of the women, order mobilisation, exhibition opportunities and
other income generation linkages.
The program aims to build capacities of underprivileged women:
1. Facilitating income for them by providing platforms such as exhibitions, orders, job work and so on
2. Upskilling training in products such as tailoring, chocolate making, paper products and so on
3. Workshops on business acumen topics such as costing, marketing, accounting, and so on
4. Workshops on holistic development such as financial literacy, digital literacy, and English speaking
