Citizen Day, 2018

For Citizen Day, L'Oréal volunteers undertook activities like creating teaching aids, cleaning mangrove habitats, making mangrove saplings, beautifying a centre catering to differently-abled children, etc.

75 employees from L'Oréal volunteered at Urban Haat in Belapur, to beautify the location, enhance visitors' experience and enrich and restore the ecological habitat for the inhabiting species. 100 employee volunteers created teaching aids and study materials for Isha Vidhya beneficiaries from schools for the underprivileged and municipal schools. 42 employees volunteered to clean up the mangroves in Airoli, Navi Mumbai and also assisted in making mangrove saplings and painting cloth bags with 50 municipal school children, to generate awareness regarding the importance of the mangrove ecosystem. 68 volunteers beautified the Adapt, Bandra centre for differently-abled children while helping the beneficiaries learn about waste management and safe play areas, and providing them with therapy aids. 68 volunteers partook in various activities with NASEOH, spending the day with the disabled adults to impart livelihood skills. 3 employees volunteered by spending the day at Access, Life foundation with pediatric cancer patients and their parents.
