Dedication to Education, 2018

The "Dedication to Education" volunteering activity was conducted with employees of Pitney Bowes Software India Pvt. Ltd. for the children from Tara Mobile Crèches, in Pune and National Social Soceity in Delhi. The hugely successful sessions were planned under UWM's Lets Read Campaign. In Pune, 18 employee volunteers visited the Tara Mobile Crèches centre spending 2 interactive hours with 46 beneficiaries, through games, art and craft activities, story-making and skit performance. Two mini-library bags were donated to the NGO and employees assisted the children in reading the books. In Delhi, four members of the corporate team visited the National Social Society centre to interact with 30 children through storytelling, art and craft. Apart from the activities, the children were captivated by the books that they received and were happily absorbed in reading the stories.
