Jagdish Parsai: A Dedicated Leader in the Field of Social Development-
Jagdish Parsai has been actively engaged in the field of social development for the last 25 years. His unwavering commitment and tireless efforts have earned him recognition and respect at the national level. At present, he serves as the Branch In-charge (Branch Manager) of the Family Planning Association of India (FPAI), Bhopal Branch — a leading institution working in the field of sexual and reproductive health. The organization is devoted to the health, well-being, and empowerment of women and families, and Jagdish Parsai has been playing a pivotal role in advancing these goals.
During his tenure with FPAI, he has initiated several impactful programs aimed
at bringing meaningful change in the areas of health and education across rural and urban communities. His primary focus has always been on the empowerment and development of women and adolescents, ensuring their active participation in building a healthier and more informed society. His leadership and initiatives have significantly contributed to realizing the vision and objectives of the organization at the grassroots level.
For his remarkable contributions, Jagdish Parsai has received several prestigious awards, including the Corona Warrior Award, Sexual and Reproductive Health Award, Rural Youth Awareness Award, Health Revolution Ambassador Award, and Inspiration Award for Male Participation in Women’s Health. He has also authored several thought-provoking books dedicated to women’s empowerment and social transformation, such as “Mahila Swayam Sahayata Vivaranika”, “Grameen evam Paramparik Shaili mein Parivarik Jeevan Darpan”, and “Platform Par Beetata Bachpan.”
His work continues to inspire efforts toward improving the social, economic, and health status of women while strengthening their rights and participation in society. Through his consistent dedication and service, significant strides have been made toward building a more inclusive and equitable community.

Raaniah Jameel is a development researcher and youth advocate, with 6+ years of experience in advancing gender justice, health equity, and climate resilience. Her work is grounded in mixed-methods inquiry, critical analysis, and intersectional thinking; allowing her to unpack complex social systems and translate evidence into action. She has held research roles at ARROW, IPPF, and more recently WHO where she led a systematic scoping review of 100+ long-term care assessment tools, contributing to the global strategy for the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing (2021-2030). Her latest research at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE) examines the impact of climate change on SRHR outcomes among women in the Indian Sundarbans, calling for SRHR to be recognised as a key pillar of climate resilience.
In the past year, Ms. Jameel expanded into resource mobilisation, leading the development of 30+ technical proposals for INGOs such as Save the Children, CARE, and War Child Canada, supporting social impact initiatives across Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and South Sudan. She also works as a freelance consultant to grassroots organisations in India, offering strategic advisory on CSR-aligned growth, proposal architecture, and donor engagement. At FPAI Bhopal, she continues to lead youth-led initiatives. Ms. Jameel envisions a world where young people are not just participants but architects of equitable and climate-conscious development systems.
Gagandeep Singh is a dedicated social development enthusiast and an active FPAI Bhopal youth volunteer. Passionate about community empowerment, he works tirelessly to support women, children, and marginalized groups by connecting them with resources, training, and opportunities that foster self-reliance and dignity.
He excels in grassroots project management, community mobilization, and awareness campaigns. Known for his empathy, creativity, and strong communication skills, Gagandeep motivates teams, builds trust within communities, and collaborates with NGOs, government departments, and local leaders to maximize impact.
Committed to creating positive change at the community level, Gagandeep continues to inspire others and make a tangible difference in the lives of many.

FPA India, a national voluntary organization dedicated to promoting the sexual and reproductive health and rights of all individuals, launched the campaign 'Race to Erase Cervical Cancer' in association with the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024 in September 2023.
Interventions to prevent cervical cancer are an integral part of the comprehensive rights package for sexual and reproductive health we offer.
Our campaign aims to raise awareness and resources for stepping up the fight against cervical cancer.
