Altaf Shaikh, 18, carries a story written in courage. A cancer survivor, he knows what it means to face fear, uncertainty, and pain—and to rise beyond it. At the Tata Mumbai Marathon, Altaf runs with gratitude in his heart and purpose in his stride, honoring the life he fought so hard to reclaim.
By partnering with the Indian Cancer Society (ICS), Altaf is choosing to give back in the most meaningful way—by creating awareness and supporting others who are still on their journey. This run is not about speed or distance; it’s about hope, healing, and ensuring that every person battling cancer is seen, supported, and never alone.
