About Me
Myself Rtn. CMA Amit Apte, President Elect of Rotary Club of Pune Metro. I will be the President of Rotary Club of Pune Metro for the year 2026-27. As a Rotarian I have progressed from Youth Avenue Director to Treasurer while spearheading several impactful community initiatives.
With over 30 years of expertise in finance, costing and ERP systems across prestigious roles including President of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (2018-19), I channel professional excellence into Rotary's mission of creating lasting impact.
An adventurer who has trekked to Mt. Everest Base Camp and Mt. Kilimanjaro, I embody the grit and determination needed to power transformative projects. Join me in the Rotary Club of Pune Metro's fundraising campaign to support the Samajhdari project to amplify Rotary's community development efforts.
I thank Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026 for providing me with this wonderful platform for the fund raising initiative.
Appeal
I’m delighted to announce this Fund Raising initiative of Rotary Club of Pune Metro for its Project Samajhdari. The project aims at driving Change for Safer Roads in Pune.
Project Samajhdari is a citizen-driven initiative being taken up by Rotary Club of Pune Metro to promote responsible driving, adherence to traffic norms, and community participation in improving Pune’s traffic ecosystem. The project aims to balance awareness, accountability, and appreciation through direct engagement with commuters, students, government agencies, and civil society.
During the Year 2026-27, Rotary Club of Pune Metro aims to achieve the following objectives:
• Encourage responsible driving.
• Create respect for traffic laws.
• Involve schools, colleges, and the community in building traffic discipline.
• Partner with government departments for sustainable traffic solutions.
• Use technology, media, and creativity to spread awareness citywide.
I sincerely appeal to all my friends, well-wishers, and like-minded individuals to donate wholeheartedly — every contribution, big or small, helps build a brighter future for India.
Let’s come together to Drive Change for Safer Roads in Pune.
