About Me

My name is Prabal Gupta. I work in private equity, where I’ve learned that meaningful outcomes are created through long-term commitment and shared effort. Running plays a similar role in my life—it demands consistency, perseverance, and belief in gradual progress, even when the road is tough.

My motivation to support NGOs comes from a deep conviction that access should not be a privilege. Too many individuals and communities lack basic healthcare, education, and opportunities simply because of where they are born. When we come together to support credible organizations, we help level that playing field and create lasting impact, particularly for children and underserved populations.

By linking my running journey to this cause, my goal is to contribute more than just financial support. I hope to shine a light on the impactful, often unseen work being done by organizations like Gully Classes and encourage more people to be part of that collective effort for change.

Appeal

Running the Tata Mumbai Marathon, for me, is about more than endurance and speed—it’s a chance to turn personal effort into meaningful impact. I strongly believe that NGOs like Gully Classes Foundation play a crucial role in addressing gaps that often go beyond the reach of formal systems.

I am running this year in support of Gully Classes Foundation because of its inspiring work in providing quality education and mentorship to children from underserved communities. Their focus on learning, confidence-building, and holistic development aligns deeply with my belief that education is the most powerful catalyst for long-term change.

By running for Gully Classes Foundation, I hope to contribute to a future where every child, regardless of background, has access to opportunities that allow them to learn, grow, and realize their full potential.
