About Me

Animal Rahat (rahat means “relief” in Hindi) is a unique program that aims to help some of the most neglected animals in the world—the bullocks, donkeys, and other working animals of India. Animal Rahat was founded in 2003 to make a difference in the lives of working bullocks, donkeys, ponies, horses, and other animals in the Indian states of Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Karnataka. Veterinary teams at five regional offices help thousands of animals in often desperate need, while the group’s four sanctuaries provide rescued and retired animals with a lifetime of care.

Appeal

I am Ninad, supporting an animal welfare NGO because animals cannot speak for themselves and depend entirely on human compassion for survival and protection. Every day, countless animals face neglect, injury, and abandonment, and they need timely care and safe shelter to recover and live with dignity.

The NGO works tirelessly at the grassroots level to rescue, treat, and rehabilitate animals, giving them a second chance at life. By supporting their work, I feel I can contribute to meaningful change and help ensure that compassion extends beyond humans.

Through the Tata Mumbai Marathon, I want to dedicate my run to voiceless lives and turn my physical effort into real impact. Your contribution will directly support animal care, medical treatment, and welfare initiatives.
