Shaun Noshir Mehta

About Me

My name is Shaun Mehta , and I study at Hill Spring International School. I am currently in the 10th grade of the IGCSE Programme. I am running the Tata Mumbai Marathon to raise funds for St. Jude India ChildCare Centres, an organisation I have volunteered at that provides housing and care to children who are undergoing cancer treatment, accompanied by their families. St. Judes offers an environment conducive to the children’s recovery, providing educational, recreational and counselling services throughout the duration of their treatment.

I have been volunteering at St. Judes over the past year, conducting various sessions with the children. This has been a truly humbling experience for me and I have learnt a lot from these brave warriors who face their battles with courage far beyond their years. Their smiles and laughter mask the painful treatments and struggles they endure daily.

Running for St. Judes in the marathon is a small way for me to give back to the brave cancer warriors and support their cause. I hope to raise both awareness and funds to help St. Judes continue its invaluable service of providing a safe and secure haven while the children continue to fight with determination and overcome their illness.
