About Me

My name is Amit Anant Chalke and this year I’m taking on a journey that goes far beyond the finish line. I’ll be running the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026, and I’ve chosen to dedicate my run to a cause that deeply resonates with me — CRY (Child Rights and You).

I’ve always believed that every child deserves a fair start in life. But the reality is that millions of children in India still struggle for things most of us consider basic — education, healthcare, safety, and a chance to dream freely. When I learned more about CRY’s work, it struck a chord with me. Their commitment to ensuring that children grow up with dignity, opportunity, and protection is something I truly admire.

Supporting CRY is my way of contributing to a future where no child is denied their childhood. I’m running because I want to stand up for children who don’t always have a voice. I’m running because I believe that change begins with small steps — and this is mine.

This January, I’ll be lacing up my shoes for more than just a race. I’m running the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026 to support CRY – Child Rights and You, an organisation that has spent decades ensuring that every child in India has the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.

For millions of children, basic rights like education, healthcare, safety, and nutrition are still out of reach. CRY works tirelessly to change that — and this year, I want to do my part to help them go even further.

My run is dedicated to giving children the childhood they deserve.
