About Me
I am 10 years old and have Spastic Diaplegia which means that all my four limbs are affected. I use a wheelchair to move around. This does not mean that I cannot learn and become a contributing citizen. I attend the sevices at ADAPT, which was earlier The Spastics Society of India, where I receive therapy to improve physically and also learn to read and write!
My mother is also trained on strategies to help me improve and how to handle other people's attitudes.
I am participating in the Tata Mumbai Marathon to raise awareness about disability and inclusion and to raise money so that ADAPT can continue to provide services to me and others like me.
Appeal
I support ADAPT because I want to bring change in the attitude of the common man.
