About Me

My name is Shweta Gupta. I’m 45 years old and a mother of 15-year-old twins. I am the founder and heart behind A Lil Desire, a home bakery that I’ve been nurturing for the past 7 years.

Baking has taught me patience, creativity, and the joy of learning & sharing. My most enriching experience has been the honour of teaching the art of chocolate making to the children & families of The Bombay West Rotary Institute for the Deaf to help them earn a livelihood for themselves.

I have been running the Half Marathon at TMM since 2018. I’m excited to continue this journey.I want to lead by example for my kids, and at the same time, I feel incredibly grateful to do something for others through the Accesslife Assistance Foundation. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to introduce myself and share a little bit about my story.

Appeal

I support NGOs because they play a vital role in improving society and helping people in need. They work at the grassroots level and reach communities that are often ignored. NGOs raise awareness about important issues such as education, health, the environment, and human rights. They also provide support during disasters and emergencies. By supporting NGOs, I feel that I am contributing to positive change and helping to create a more equal and compassionate world.
