About Me

My name is Nysha Goyal. I am 12 years old and in Grade 7. I am also a student of Birla Vidya Niketan, Pushp Vihar – IV.
I have gone to government schools to donate books and supplies, and the situation of those schools is truly deplorable! Walls damaged, cracks in the foundation, water leaks, and even mold in some places! The water is not clean, the food is not sanitary, and the learning facilities are in urgent need of attention and renovation!
Seeing this with my own eyes made me realise how unfair it is that so many children my age do not get the safe and supportive learning environment they deserve. Every child should feel proud to walk into school, not worried about their safety or health.
Umang Foundation is helping us improve the quality of these schools and their facilities, and I want to support their mission in every way I can. By raising funds, I hope to help create classrooms that inspire learning, playgrounds that feel safe, and spaces where children can dream big without limitations.

Appeal

Allow me to jot down some reasons why I support the NGO's...

1. To bridge learning gaps
Many government schools struggle with limited resources. NGOs help fill gaps in areas like foundational learning, digital literacy, remedial teaching, and life-skills training.

2. To ensure equal opportunities
NGOs help level the playing field so that children from low-income families get the same quality of education, exposure, and support as those in private institutions.

3. To strengthen public education, not replace it
Supporting NGOs is a way to strengthen the existing government system—improving teacher training, infrastructure, and community engagement without creating parallel systems.

4. To help break the cycle of poverty
Better education directly improves long-term earning potential and social mobility. Supporting NGOs means investing in a child's future and, in turn, the progress of entire families and communities.

And guess what, these reasons don't even make a dent in comparison to hundreds of more rationales!
