About Me

Hi, I am Veena and I am passionate to see transformation and healing in the lives of young women who are survivors of human trafficking and abuse.
I am therefore taking up the challenge of participating in the Tata Mumbai Marathon and would like to raise support for ISAAHASI ACADEMY INDIA FOUNDATION, an NGO that's committed to making this possible. iSaahasi ensures that such young women are given opportunity to grow into confident, capable, strong and secure women through Education, Health care, livelihoods and community living.

I request you therefore join me in supporting this cause and you can do so by giving and cheer me on as push myself to do this run, because I deeply believe that every young woman deserves to feel safe, valued, and capable. I am constantly inspired by the courage I see in the young women we serve, women who have faced trauma, abandonment, or poverty, yet still hold on to hope.
Being part of this mission has shown me how powerful support can be. One safe space, one mentor, one chance at education, one person who refuses to give up on them this is all it takes to change a life forever.

Appeal

I am choosing to support Isaahasi Academy India Foundation because I have seen, firsthand, what courage looks like.
It looks like a young girl who has survived violence and still dares to dream.
It looks like a child who enters our center struggling to read and write and walks out believing she can become anything.
It looks like a woman who has been told she is “less” and then discovers she is capable, talented, and worthy of dignity.

At Isaahasi Academy, we work every single day with young women who have experienced trauma, abandonment, poverty, and unsafe environments. We stand with them until they rebuild their identity, their confidence, and their future.

This is not charity. This is rebuilding lives, restoring dignity and giving someone the freedom to stand tall again.
I support this cause because I will not stay silent when I can help. And today, I am asking you to stand with me.
