Hi,
I’m Sakshyam Rai. After building my foundation in the corporate world, I’ve stepped into a new chapter as an MBA student at SPJIMR, Mumbai. Through all these phases, one thing has always guided me the belief that opportunity is the most powerful form of support you can offer someone.

Working closely through a college project, with Aftertaste over the past days made this belief even stronger. I’ve met women who once struggled for stability and now create beautifully handcrafted products with skill, pride, and renewed confidence. I’ve listened to their journeys - the quiet strength, the sacrifices, the small victories that mean everything.

Seeing them work, laugh, learn, and support each other showed me how transformative a single source of income can be -
A steady order becomes a child’s education.
A new skill becomes a woman’s voice.
A handcrafted product becomes a family’s chance at a better life.

This fundraiser is deeply personal to me. It is my way of giving back to the women who shared their stories with me, who welcomed me into their world, and who reminded me what courage looks like in everyday life.
