MukkaMaar x Roshan
Hey, I'm Roshan. I’ve lived my life chasing the edges of what’s possible — not to prove anything to anyone, but to understand who I can become.
From winning a national gold medal in aerobic gymnastics, to completing Olympic triathlons, running 53 km ultra trail races, and training professionally in the mountains through NIMAS, every chapter of my journey has demanded discipline, grit, and the willingness to push beyond comfort.
But these achievements aren’t just medals or distances — they’ve shaped who I am.
Someone who shows up.
Someone who finishes what he starts.
Someone who believes strength is meant to be used for something bigger.
And today, that “something bigger” matters more than any finish line I’ve ever crossed.
Appeal
Gender-based violence is an ongoing reality that strips women and girls of their freedom and agency. MukkaMaar directly confronts this by building girls from the inside out to thrive. Through their holistic programs, they equip adolescent girls with empowerment self-defense training, critical awareness of harmful gender dynamics, their rights, and essential life skills.
Your donation will help MukkaMaar deliver its programs across the country. Their 3-year curriculum taught by trained martial arts champions in government schools will impact over 8,500 adolescent girls across Mumbai and Delhi. The MukkaMaar with Mukki (MwM) WhatsApp chatbot provides a condensed, gamified, and self-paced version of the training, set to reach 200,000 adolescent girls this year through government and NGO partnerships.
When a girl believes in her ability to confront violence, she begins to imagine a life for herself free from that burden. She feels and asserts her agency.
It takes just Rs.3,600 to empower one girl for an entire year. That's only Rs.300 per month—surprisingly less than the cost of your monthly coffee run!
