Chaiim Foundation restores hope and dignity to survivors of human trafficking through education, counselling, healthcare, and dignified employment. Over the past decade, it has empowered more than 200 women to rebuild their lives with courage and confidence.

Why This Fundraiser Matters
Each step I take represents the courage of a woman rebuilding her life after trauma. Funds raised will support survivors’ education, vocational training, healthcare, and sustainable livelihoods in rural Maharashtra.

Appeal

I’m Sylvia Fernandes, and I’m raising funds through the Tata Mumbai Marathon to support Chaiim Foundation — an organisation close to my heart that restores dignity and livelihood to women who have survived human trafficking.

Over the past decade, I’ve witnessed incredible stories of courage and transformation — women rebuilding their lives through education, skill training, life skills, counselling, hope and healthcare. This fundraiser is my way of honouring their resilience and raising support for many more who deserve a chance at freedom and a future.
