About Me

My childhood trauma also became a blessing for me as I took solace in creating imaginary spaces which were happy, safe and full of love.
It also helped me in becoming an award winning Writer/Director.
Today, I tell stories that create change and as a Certified Community Expert, I have helped build safer communities, and spaces in schools, colleges and neighbourhoods of Mumbai, done some pathbreaking and impact driven work through ‘The Hands of Hope Foundation- engaging influencers, actors and academicians to strengthen the fight against child sexual abuse.
We have pioneered Creative Campaigns, which have not only inspired the youth to become future changemakers, but also became instrumental in amending a Child Rights Law in India, making it Gender Neutral.

As a Certified Therapist, specialising in Family Constellations, Inner Child Healing, and Trauma Informed Therapy, today I use my expertise to help people heal from unaddressed and long standing issues, so that they can live the life they truly deserve.

Appeal

They say ' It takes a village to raise a child. But I say, it also takes a village to abuse it.’
I was only ten when I was sexually abused.
There was a deafening silence around my abuse, but the screams of my childhood dying inside me were loud.
It was loud enough to not only impact my childhood but also my adulthood.
I was resilient. I fought . I survived.
But not everyone is.
So I healed, and I swore that I would not let any other child experience what I did.
Creating safe spaces for our children is my mission today and I need your support in helping me continue this fight.
My NGO ‘The Hands of Hope Foundation’ needs your help to carry on our CSA awareness and educational programs in Schools, colleges, neighbourhoods, slums and any community where we can step in to help protect our children.
