About Me

Hi, I am Mehboob Brar running to raise funds for Cuddles Foundation!
I am a self-employed individual with a diverse background and a passion for my work. Originally from Punjab, I hold a postgraduate degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, which has equipped me with valuable skills in communication and media. For the past 18 years, I have been residing in Mumbai, a city that has become my home and has inspired me in various ways throughout my professional journey.

This July, I embarked on an exciting new challenge by starting my preparation for the Tata Marathon. I am thrilled to be participating in my first 21-kilometer run, an experience that is both exhilarating and daunting. Training for this marathon has not only improved my physical fitness but has also taught me the importance of perseverance and dedication. I look forward to the event and the sense of accomplishment it will bring.

Appeal

Childhood cancer can be cured. But for children in India, it’s a very different story. Lack of access to timely treatment and malnutrition among those seeking treatment makes survival difficult for children.
~76,000 adolescents (age 0-19) may develop cancer every year in India of which ~ 40% are malnourished at diagnosis. Malnutrition has a serious impact on cancer treatment, because treatments like chemotherapy may lead to side effects, complications, risk of infections, etc.

Cuddles Foundation is India's only NGO dedicated to helping children combat cancer through holistic nutrition. Cuddles has partnered with top government hospitals and charity cancer treatment centers to address the nutrition gap in Indian childhood cancer care. Through their FoodHeals® Program, Cuddles provides year-round holistic nutrition support to children and their families in 40+ hospitals across India.

The funds raised via Tata Mumbai Marathon will contribute to supporting hundreds of children at our partner hospitals in Mumbai with ration bundles, supplements, meals & counseling.

Every step you take and the donation you make will be a direct source of nourishment, hope, and healing for little cancer warriors who just can’t wait to get well and be kids again.
