About Me
Hi, I’m Aaditya, 30 years old. I’ve participated in a few different marathons over the years, but I’m especially excited to be coming back to the Mumbai Marathon after a long time. There’s something unique about the energy of this event — the way it brings together people from all walks of life, united by a shared purpose. I’m really looking forward to experiencing how the spirit of the marathon has grown and evolved, and to being part of a community that believes in running for something bigger than ourselves.
This year, I’ve chosen to support CRY – Child Rights and You. It’s an organization I’ve known about for a while — some of my friends and family have worked with CRY, so I’ve seen firsthand the credibility and commitment behind their work. They’ve consistently focused on ensuring every child has access to education, healthcare, and a safe childhood — things that are too often taken for granted. Supporting CRY through this marathon feels like a meaningful way to give back and help create opportunities for children to dream and thrive.
Appeal
I’m targeting the CRY campaign because it represents one of the most impactful and community-grounded efforts to protect children’s rights in India. CRY stands out for its long-term focus on education, health, and safety — not just short-term relief. The organization’s work directly tackles systemic issues like child labor, malnutrition, and access to education, ensuring that every child has a fair chance to dream, learn, and grow.
By aligning with CRY, I aim to contribute to a movement that doesn’t just raise awareness but creates measurable change at the grassroots level. CRY’s credibility, scale, and transparent impact reporting make it an ideal partner for anyone serious about creating sustainable social impact for children.
Equality between all children regardless of their backing is an important aspect for me and other people around me worked with this org. and the credibility appeals to me.
