About Me

Hi, this is Omkar. I am an Human Resource consultant with over 13 years's experience in various industries. I believe by supporting the education for the underprivileged we can make the greatest change possible in their lives. To understand the VSM better do check out the 2 videos about VSM in my profile.

I am personally associated with Vidyadaan Sahayyak Mandal from 2010. Vidyadan has reached the lives of thousands of students ever since, and continues the change. You know why I am associated with VSm for so long? It's because it is that one NGO that has almost 95% of the received funds reaching the actual beneficiaries, and that's a huge plus for me. Second, 99% of the volunteers are non-paid, they have their own profession and are contributing solely on Pro-Bono basis. I am talking about 650 volunteers which are professionals across Maharashtra selflessly showing up for the noble cause of education. 1100 students have passed out through about 16 streams in last 17 years and over 850 students are currently benefiting from the handholding model of Vidyadaan Sahayyak Mandal.

Hi I am associated with VSM as an n-ground volunteer since 2010. I have taken a target to generate at least 1 lac rupees for this organization. VSM Thane has been supporting bright but economically challenged students since 2008 - helping them pursue higher education, gain confidence, and become responsible citizens.
