About Me

I am Ramesh Narayanan, qualified as Cost accountant, Law Graduate, and Company secretary, having 35 years of experience in finance and taxation in natural resources company like WCL, Tide Water Oil Co India Limited (Veedol Corporation), and lastly with Mahanagar Gas Ltd.

My work has been appreciated by the managements, and finally superannuated from the Job. Post my superannuation, i have obtained Legal Practice certificate from the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa India, as an Advocate and is planning to commence by work in the areas of Taxation.

I have started running in October 2014, since then have performed more than 111 marathons, including one in SFO USA, Presidio Half Marathon this year 2025. Also run 50K ultras in Malnadu, Kolhapur, etc. Full Marathon in Bombay TMM for four years continuously.

Running became my professional interest, after having done Gym for more than 10 years prior to that. Further during my schooling had headed the yellow team and a football player, and have participated in running events, and red cross conducted marathons for in school children Coimbatore.

So running is passion, in the process to what extent i can support some cause i have been performing and felt that whenever i run, the contribution in little way goes to good activity like children education, and other activities.

Appeal

I am excited to share that i will be participating in the TMM (SCMM) marathons, started since 2015, and continued to participate in various years, and have run for more than 111 marathons, which includes 5 50K's and 4 42K's, and Satara Hill Marathon for Six times. Running marathon is just not for fitness, it is a cause towards nature, reduce medicines, enjoy a life and support a cause which in a way a good support mechanism.

I am supporting Mharathaksha Foundation. The foundation is transforming lives through:
1) Bizz lab Program - simulation based learning that equips students with real world skills and makes them job ready.2) Care Medical program - providing free medicines to families in need through crowdfunding and medicine drop boxes.

I would love to support to help me raise funds for this incredible cause. Every contributions, big or small directly impacts students and families who need our help.
