About Me

A near-fatal illness many years ago led me, quite by chance, to the social sector — and I’m deeply grateful it did.
It gave my life a sense of purpose and connection that continues to inspire me every day.
I’m supporting Rise Infinity Foundation because our work reflects what I’ve come to value most: building peace within communities through empathy and understanding, ensuring disaster preparedness so that help reaches those in need without delay, and offering humanitarian aid to bring stability and dignity back into lives.
Every step I take in this walk is for peace — within and around us.

Peace – My Favourite Cause
Peace, to me, is where it all begins — peace in our homes, our communities, and within ourselves.
It’s not just about avoiding conflict, but about fostering kindness, understanding, and resilience.
Through Rise Infinity Foundation, we work on programs that bring people together — to listen, to heal, to build harmony and hope.
I believe that peace is the foundation of everything good that follows.

Because When Disaster Strikes…
Peace gives us strength to face crises. Every year, floods and other natural disasters displace families and destroy livelihoods. Our Disaster Preparedness Fund ensures that help is ready — emergency kits packed and available — so relief can reach those in need without delay.

And When Someone Is in Need…
Peace also means compassion.
Our Humanitarian Aid efforts help families struggling with medical expenses, school fees, and other urgent needs — simple acts of support that bring stability and dignity back into lives.

Why I’m Reaching Out
At 72, I continue to work and stay active, despite mobility issues, and I want my steps to count : seeking your generous support to help me achieve my target
