Hi, I’m Varun Rai.
I work as a Program Associate at iTeach Schools, an organization dedicated to empowering students from underserved communities in Pune and Navi Mumbai.

This year, I’m participating in the Tata Mumbai Marathon to raise funds and awareness for our students’ journeys. At iTeach, we support them in completing their education and stepping confidently into brighter futures.

Running for Dreams — Supporting iTeach Schools

Since 2015, iTeach Schools has run 9 free English-medium schools in Pune and 4 in Navi Mumbai and Panvel, helping first-generation learners break the cycle of poverty through quality education. Every day, our students show up with courage, hope, and determination to create brighter futures.

As someone whose life was transformed by education, I know its power to change generations. That’s why iTeach Schools is close to my heart — we reimagine public schools so that today’s first-generation learners can dream bigger and achieve more.

In January 2026, I’ll be running the Tata Mumbai Marathon to raise funds for iTeach Schools. This run is not just about finishing the race — it’s about safeguarding the dreams of children who stand where I once stood.

We’re fundraising for three key initiatives:

•Sponsor a Student (Rs 50,000): One year of education — academics, socio-emotional growth, and co-curricular learning.

•Support a First-Generation Learner to and Through College.

• Last Mile Fund (Rs 2,00,000): Cover the final 20% of college costs for students who’ve earned 80% scholarships to top universities like Ashoka, FLAME, and KREA.

Your support helps students move from classroom to career, breaking barriers and becoming role models in their families and communities.
