About Me

I’m Amrita, a communications professional and a first-time fundraiser. I’ve worked with the Indian Cancer Society during their campaigns and seen their compassion and dedication firsthand.

Having lost my father to cancer, I feel deeply connected to this cause — and through this marathon, I want to turn that loss into hope for others fighting the same battle.

Appeal

I’m fundraising for the Indian Cancer Society (ICS) — India’s oldest NGO fighting cancer through awareness, early detection, treatment, and rehabilitation.

This cause is very close to my heart since I lost my dad to cancer and have seen up close what families go through. I’ve also worked with ICS in the past and joined their campaigns, witnessing the real difference they make on ground.

While this is my first time fundraising, I’m doing it with the hope of helping someone get the care and support. Every donation counts — it can help detect cancer early, fund a patient’s treatment, or support a survivor’s recovery.
