About Me
Hi, I’m Rohan, 30 years old — a lifelong sports enthusiast and someone who strongly believes that every child should have access to the same opportunities that shaped me, including the joy and discipline that come through sports.
I’ve been actively involved in sports since childhood, and for the past 8 years, running has become an integral part of my life — from half marathons to ultra-distance runs. Running, for me, is not just about endurance, but about purpose and perseverance — values I’ve carried into everything I do.
Having started my professional journey in the non-profit sector, I’ve seen firsthand how access — or the lack of it — can shape lives. This experience has made me deeply committed to giving back to the community in meaningful ways. Supporting CRY (Child Rights and You) through the Tata Mumbai Marathon feels like a perfect extension of that belief — combining my love for running with a cause that ensures every child gets the right start in life.
For me, this isn’t just a run — it’s a way to stand for equality, opportunity, and hope.
Appeal
Every child deserves a fair chance — to dream, to learn, to play, and to live a life filled with dignity and hope. Unfortunately, millions of children in India are still denied their basic rights to education, health, and protection
This year, as I lace up for my very first Tata Mumbai Marathon, I’m running not just for the finish line, but for a cause that truly matters — supporting CRY.
That’s where CRY steps in — creating real change on the ground by ensuring that every child gets access to education, healthcare, and a childhood free from exploitation. Their work gives children the power to dream and the tools to make those dreams come true. They have been working tirelessly for over four decades to ensure that underprivileged children get access to education, healthcare, and a safe childhood.Running this marathon is my small way of giving back — of standing up for children who deserve a fair start in life
Your support can make that dream possible. Whether it’s a small donation or simply spreading the word, every gesture counts. Together, let’s make sure no child is left behind.
