About Me
I am a lawyer by profession and serve as partner in Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, my professional home for over 20 years where I currently head the insurance practice. Outside the office I love to spend time with my wife (who is also an avid runner) and kids. We like to travel, hike, eat out and read. When i'm not running, I do some kick boxing, some tennis and some strength training to keep fit.
Appeal
I have been running the Mumbai Half Marathon since 2011 and this year, I run for CEQUE.
CEQUE is an NGO which invests in teachers - teachers who change the lives of children. CEQUE partners with governments and provide long term support to government school teachers in Language and Math pedagogy through training, in-class coaching, learning material and student exhibitions. They help teachers teach better, so that children learn. On an average, each teacher will impact 400 students. To date, CEQUE has reached over 3,200 teachers and consequently 150,000+ students in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka.
I believe in CEQUE and their ability to make a change. So this is my appeal for you to put some belief and faith in them, through your donation.
