About Me

Hi! My name is Reya Jain and I’m 12 years old. I love swimming, reading and doing art. Also, I enjoy desserts. Another one of my passions is travelling and exploring the world. This year I signed up to run the Dream Run 2026 in my own city, Mumbai. I feel very deeply for the Cuddles Foundation. Last year I created thank you cards and care packages for the Cuddles Foundation. This year I am running the Dream Run representing the Cuddles Foundation.

Appeal

Childhood cancer can be cured. But for children in India, it’s a very different story. Lack of access to timely treatment and malnutrition among those seeking treatment makes survival difficult for children.
~76,000 adolescents (age 0-19) may develop cancer every year in India of which ~ 40% are malnourished at diagnosis. Malnutrition has a serious impact on cancer treatment, because treatments like chemotherapy may lead to side effects, complications, risk of infections, etc.

Cuddles Foundation is India's only NGO dedicated to helping children combat cancer through holistic nutrition. Cuddles has partnered with top government hospitals and charity cancer treatment centers to address the nutrition gap in Indian childhood cancer care. Through their FoodHeals® Program, Cuddles provides year-round holistic nutrition support to children and their families in 40+ hospitals across India.

The funds raised via Tata Mumbai Marathon will contribute to supporting hundreds of children at our partner hospitals in Mumbai with ration bundles, supplements, meals & counseling.

Every step you take and the donation you make will be a direct source of nourishment, hope, and healing for little cancer warriors who just can’t wait to get well and be kids again.
