About Me

My name is Vidhi and saying I love to run would be an understatement :) I have been running for 20+ years and have run 2 ultra marathons, 8 marathons and over 65 half marathons but this is the first year I am fundraising and pacing a friend to finish the 10 KM . Through the years while i ran all across Mumbai I made so many friends on the road right from NCPA to Bandra i knew most of the street dogs and instead of water breaks I took chill with my dog friend break :)
Running made me realize that I had purpose and that purpose was to help animals in any way i could

Appeal

My Passion in life is to run but my purpose in life is to feed and look after all the street animals that i can :) Running is just putting one foot in front of the other and sometimes you can achieve things you never thought possible, in a small way just by feeding or sterlizing even one animal on the street it can make a difference . I would appreciate even a small amount to help this cause because just as every step counts to a bigger goal , ever penny goes a long way :)
Welfare of Stray Dogs is extremely close to my heart because for the last 15 years they have sterlizied and vaccinated so many of the dogs i feed and if there is an emergency they always send their volunteer to help free of cost to treat the animal . A visit to their shelter and meeting their wonderful staff and volunteers is such a lovely experience and I hope in my little way I can do my bit to help their cause :)
