About Me

Hello, I'm Shivansh Tanuj Agarwal.
I'm a student of Hill Spring International School studying in the 9th grade. I want to make a difference in the community, with whichever little action I can take place. I wish to cause a change, and encourage others to help me as well to support kids suffering with cancer. So as I run the Dream Run, I wish to keep hope alive for these young children, and support them in any way possible! After all, one small step is all it takes to start the march for a greater cause! That's me and my mission as I plan to raise funds for this marathon!

Appeal

Childhood cancer can be cured. But for children in India, it’s a very different story. Lack of access to timely treatment and malnutrition among those seeking treatment makes survival difficult for children.
~76,000 adolescents (age 0-19) may develop cancer every year in India of which ~ 40% are malnourished at diagnosis. Malnutrition has a serious impact on cancer treatment, because treatments like chemotherapy may lead to side effects, complications, risk of infections, etc.

Cuddles Foundation is India's only NGO dedicated to helping children combat cancer through holistic nutrition. Cuddles has partnered with top government hospitals and charity cancer treatment centers to address the nutrition gap in Indian childhood cancer care. Through their FoodHeals® Program, Cuddles provides year-round holistic nutrition support to children and their families in 40+ hospitals across India.

The funds raised via the Tata Mumbai Marathon will contribute to supporting hundreds of children at our partner hospitals in Mumbai with ration bundles, supplements, meals & counseling.

Every step you take and the donation you make will be a direct source of nourishment, hope, and healing for little cancer warriors who just can’t wait to get well and be kids again.
