About Me
I have been working with Navnirmiti Eduquality Foundation since 2017. Over the years, I have developed a deep passion for working with children and teachers, and I find great fulfillment in contributing to educational initiatives. I strongly resonate with the organization’s vision of 'quality education for all' and its pedagogy of 'learning by doing and understanding.' This philosophy aligns with my personal belief that meaningful learning happens when learners actively engage with concepts and apply them in real-life contexts.
Appeal
Navnirmiti Eduquality Foundation runs educational programs in the fields of Early Childhood Education, Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, Mathematics, and Science. In 2022, the Foundation initiated a Community Library at Phule Nagar, Powai.
Phule Nagar is home to many daily wage earners, which often limits parental involvement in their children's intellectual development. The Shodhak Community Library (SCL) serves as a vital space for creative learning and exploration, with the aim of instilling a love for reading among local children.
This ongoing initiative offers free access to library resources for children from the densely populated slum settlement near IIT Bombay, thereby promoting early literacy and nurturing a reading culture within the community.
