About Me

Hello everyone,
My name is Jiya Jaisinghani. I have been working with Maitrayana Charity Foundation for the past 8 years as a Coach.
My focus has always been on empowering girls through life skills, sports, and gender equality, so that they gain the confidence to make their own decisions. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with more than 6,500 girls, and I feel proud to be part of their journeys.

I enjoy teamwork, learning, and sharing new experiences, and through my work I always strive to bring positive change in the community.

Appeal

When I was 18, I got married without knowing much about my rights, my body, or my choices. I didn’t know what consent meant, or that I had the power to say yes—or no.

Through education, I learned how important it is for girls to know their SRHR rights and make informed decisions. But even today, thousands of girls are still unaware and face early marriage and early pregnancy.

This is why I’m raising funds—to provide sessions, safe spaces, and knowledge so that no girl feels as lost as I once did.
