My name is Urmila. I am not a regular runner, but in this marathon I am running for RATI because I deeply believe in its cause.
I dream of a world where every woman and child is free from violence, where every survivor receives shelter and counselling, and where no victim is left to stand alone.
RATI stands firmly for this vision, and that is why I am proud to support it.

Every year, over 100,000 cybercrimes disrupt the lives of women and children and 60,000+ cases of child sexual abuse are reported in India. The need for action is urgent. Yet, victims too often remain unheard.

RATI Foundation, refuses to let them be forgotten and silenced. RATI stands with survivors of gender-based violence—both online and offline—until they thrive again.

They provide free legal aid, counseling, health services, and education - whatever it takes to empower survivors, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity.

They help with immediate action – From removing non-consensual content on the internet to escalating cases to platforms and authorities, we act swiftly to halt abuse in its tracks.

RATI pushes for victim-friendly justice and works toward building systems in India that serve survivors.

RATI's - Aarambh India Initiative has been recognized with the Presidential National Award for Child Welfare (2017) and the Social Innovation Award (2024), and has supported over 500 survivors, removed 1,000+ offending accounts, and played a pivotal role in shaping national reporting tools like the cybercrime portal.
