My name is Salman Mujawar. I have been working in the NGO sector for the past 9 years, with a special focus on counselling and providing support to children, adolescents, and communities. Over the years, I have gained experience in awareness sessions, capacity building, and offering guidance to individuals facing challenges related to safety, mental health, and personal wellbeing. Apart from my professional work, I am passionate about running, which keeps me energetic, disciplined, and motivated in both my personal and professional life.

Every year, over 100,000 cybercrimes disrupt the lives of women and children and 60,000+ cases of child sexual abuse are reported in India. The need for action is urgent. Yet, victims too often remain unheard.

RATI Foundation, refuses to let them be forgotten and silenced. RATI stands with survivors of gender-based violence—both online and offline—until they thrive again.

They provide free legal aid, counseling, health services, and education - whatever it takes to empower survivors, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity.

They help with immediate action – From removing non-consensual content on the internet to escalating cases to platforms and authorities, we act swiftly to halt abuse in its tracks.

RATI pushes for victim-friendly justice and works toward building systems in India that serve survivors.

RATI's - Aarambh India Initiative has been recognized with the Presidential National Award for Child Welfare (2017) and the Social Innovation Award (2024), and has supported over 500 survivors, removed 1,000+ offending accounts, and played a pivotal role in shaping national reporting tools like the cybercrime portal.
