OSCAR Foundation is one of the leading grassroots Sports for Development (S4D) organisations in India. It uses the power of football to encourage children to stay in school and develop essential life skills, making them resilient and future-ready.
Children in slums and rural areas face significant challenges—caste, gender, and poverty often prevent them from reaching their full potential. In India, over 20% of students drop out of school before completing 10th grade, and mental health issues are rising among youth.
OSCAR's Football Life Skills programme aims to provide critical life skills to children, enabling them to not only survive but thrive. By offering mentorship at an early age and creating a fun and safe environment, OSCAR seeks to develop resilient communities where children and youth can become successful role models.
