About Me

My journey in education began as a Teach For India Fellow, where I had the privilege of teaching Grades 9 and 10 in a government school in Saki Naka, Mumbai. Those two years were transformative. Not only did I teach, but I also stood alongside my students and their families through the challenges of the COVID-19 crisis and lockdown. Their resilience in the face of hardship deepened my belief that every child, regardless of their background, deserves an excellent education and an equal shot at opportunity.

After my fellowship, I joined iTeach Schools as a Lead Teacher in their founding school in Pune, Yerwada. While serving there, I honed my teaching skills and also learned the fundamentals of coaching, management, and leadership.

Today, I continue this journey as the Vice Principal of iTeach’s school in Airoli — its second-largest campus. Here, I co-lead a team of 40 dedicated staff members, working together to ensure high-quality learning for over 700 first-generation students. Every day, I witness the courage and determination of our students as they strive to rewrite not just their own futures, but also those of their families and communities.
