About Me

Hi friends,

Thank you for considering donating to iTeach Schools. I am a School Leader at one of the schools that we run in Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune. For the past 8 years, I have been serving students, youth and community members from Bhosari and Chinchwad. When I first started working in this community in 2018, students in government-run English medium schools did not have access to secondary education. That is when we decided to establish the first free English-medium school in partnership with the municipal corporation.

Since then, we have had 100% students passing in GX, students leading meaningful projects in the community (one being against the tabboo around menstruation), students turning into entrepreneurs to solve complex problems, around 20% students from the last few batches securing admissions into the top 5 Junior Colleges in Pune and many of them studying in top national colleges.

In the next 3-5 years, I wish to establish my school, iTeach LBT as a model for what is possible in terms of (a) building active voice and citizenship in students, (b) excellence in sports and (c) parents leading change in school and in the community.

Appeal

iTeach Schools is committed to serving students from the most under-resourced communities in Pune and Mumbai. Our students are first-generation learners, many from families with monthly incomes of Rs.10,000–15,000. At iTeach, we believe every child deserves an equal opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.

Through the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026, we’re raising funds to support two critical needs:

Sponsor a Student (Rs.50,000): Cover one student’s school fees for the year, giving them access to robust academics, socio-emotional support & co-curricular development.

Last Mile Fund (Rs.2,00,000): Fund the final 20% of annual costs for students who’ve secured 80% scholarships to top national colleges like Ashoka University, FLAME, and KREA — covering their remaining admission fees, travel, and living expenses will enable them to actually attend.
