About Me
Hi, I’m Poonam Jain, an avid trekker and outdoor enthusiast, and I’m excited to share that I’ll be participating in the Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) 2025. This year, my run is not just about personal goals—it’s about making a difference.
I’ll be running alongside Ravi, a brave blood cancer survivor, to raise awareness and funds for children battling cancer. He was diagnosed at the age of 12, Ravi and his family faced immense hardships, including financial struggles so severe that they once considered ending their lives. But with remarkable courage and determination, Ravi fought and won his battle against cancer. Today, he is healthy and thriving, inspiring others with his story.
Ravi will also join the TMM 2025 Dream Run with 9 other cancer survivors to raise funds and spread hope. Together, we aim to ensure that every child battling cancer gets the support they need to survive and thrive.

Did you know that if a child has cancer in a high income country, their chances of survival are 80%. But in India, it is 35%. But it doesn't have to be that way. Founded in 2004 by Poonam Bagai, herself a cancer survivor, CanKidsKidsCan - The National Society For Change For Childhood Cancer In India aims to change that.
CanKids partners with hospitals, medical professionals, and state governments to move India towards 100% access2care & higher survival rates for children with cancer. They enable best standards of treatment, care and support across 141 partner centers in 53 cities and 22 states of India. Catering to primarily underprivileged families, CanKids serves the underserved, ensuring avoidance of financial hardship.
CanKids increases survival rates by driving early detection, diagnosis & referral & partnering with the government and stakeholders to pioneer online support and care reaching remote corners of India.
