About Me

I am a person with a hearing loss myself. I am a certified personal trainer and a counselling psychologist. I have gone through the process myself of early detection, early intervention, auditory verbal therapy and cochlear implantation with the strong willpower of my family. Their strength is the only reason that all of it was possible.
I want other families to be able to do all this for their kids and I know VConnect Foundation helps them get there!

But they can't do it alone and that is why I am fundraising for them.

Appeal

VConnect Foundation is close to my heart as it helps parents of kids with hearing loss. As someone with a hearing loss myself, I understand the emotional and mental difficulties parents go through. It doesn't help that those with hearing loss typically come from lower socio economic backgrounds. This makes it challenging for families to procure devices and services that could make the child lead a fulfilling life ahead. For those with severe to profound hearing loss, cochlear implantation and auditory verbal therapy are expenses that are not low.

VConnect Foundation supports families from various walks of life as they bring them together and help them through the power of stories and working towards a common goal. Devices, auditory services, mental health services, developmental experts and many more aspects of hearing loss are there. VConnect Foundation strives to connect families to various experts and conducts programmes for families to help in their children's hearing journey. Let us come together to help families!
