About Me

I'm Ananya, a thirteen-year-old navigating life alongside my brother, who has epilepsy. If my words don't resonate with you, that's alright—everyone views the world through their own unique lens. I've come across many individuals with epilepsy, each carrying a story as distinct as their fingerprints. Some are sad and regretful and some are just unimaginable. Listening to others you sometimes feel as if you are so lucky but at the end of the day, there were different routes but the same destiny. In school, I've always been the one teachers commend, the one who brings pride to my family and school. I know I'm not without flaws, but I refuse to let a single imperfection define me. Epilepsy is similar; you can't define yourself by that condition, it was your destination, and you had to be here. But there's a lot more you can do to prove to yourself that you are not tired.
