About Me
I am Raajvir Kapoor, a 13-year old student at Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School. Ever since I was 6, I have been fascinated by the world of athletics. Watching Usain Bolt's iconic Olympic sprints or even an unexpected overtake in our school sports day filled me with joy, which is why I began training in athletics.
Ever since then, I have only ever run to win in competitions, where I have won countless medals in my school sports day and a couple at city level. However, in the Tata Marathon 2025 I will not be running to compete- I will be running for a cause. The are thousands of children all across India struggling to fulfill their needs, causing them to live with minimal amounts hope. There are many NGOs around India trying to help for this cause, but there is one that instantly comes to my mind- the Magic Bus India Foundation.
Appeal
The Magic Bus India Foundation focuses on giving children a second chance at life, by providing all of their basic needs as well as allowing them to pursue their dreams.
Their adolescent program has seen a 46% improvement in school regularity and a 76% school completion rate compared to the national average of 69%. These are just a few of the achievements in the foundations list, showing their determination towards the cause, which is why I have decided to help them.
