At Lok Seva Sangam, we believe in the power of compassion, community, and action. For nearly five decades, we’ve been dedicated to transforming lives by addressing the most urgent needs of Mumbai’s underprivileged communities. From healthcare to education and family support, our programs are designed to restore hope, dignity, and opportunity to those who need it most.
Our Key Programs:
1)Leprosy Program: Since 1976, we have provided free diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing support to over 30,000 leprosy patients. Every year, thousands of individuals and their families find relief, care, and dignity through our services.
2)Tuberculosis (TB) Program: With over 10,000 TB patients treated, our centers focus on providing free testing, treatment, and nutritional support to ensure effective recovery. Every patient deserves the chance to overcome this disease with dignity.
3)Education Program: We believe that education is the most powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty. Over 8,000 children have accessed quality education through our programs, and our sponsorships currently support 300 children to help them stay in school and succeed.
4)Family Development Program (FDP): We empower families with counseling, nutritional support, and skill-building initiatives. Through FDP, we’ve reached over 15,000 families, offering them a path to economic stability, better health, and a hopeful future.
