About Me

Hello! I’m Krishna Gangaram Zugare, currently serving as a Regional Manager at MelJol, where I’ve had the privilege of contributing over seven years of dedicated experience in the social sector. My journey in this field is supported by a Master’s in Arts (M.A.) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), allowing me to bridge academic insights with practical, impactful work on the ground.

At MelJol, I focus on project planning, implementation, and team management—skills that have become essential in driving our initiatives forward. I am deeply invested in developing and refining our curriculum and training support, aiming to uplift educational standards and create meaningful empowerment programs. Resourceful and budget-conscious, I ensure that each project is sustainable and impactful, maximizing MelJol’s reach and effectiveness.

As a leader, I take pride in motivating and guiding my team, fostering an environment where each member feels empowered to contribute fully. My hands-on approach helps me stay connected with the communities we serve, particularly in Palghar, where I’m able to design programs that address the unique challenges of this region. My experience has given me a strategic outlook and a deep understanding of local needs, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth and success.

Being a part of MelJol’s mission continues to be an incredibly rewarding journey. I am passionate about leaving a lasting impact and contributing to the organization’s vision, and I’m grateful to work alongside a team equally committed to creating positive change.

MelJol is a registered NGO that focuses on breaking the cycle of poverty with its specific focus on social, educational, and financial inclusion of the disadvantaged children, youth and communities. Jeroo Billimoria, a social entrepreneur is the founder of MelJol.
MelJol’s work has been recognized through various awards such as HCL Foundation Grant Award in Education category, “Emerging NGO” award in the Access to Finance Category at the ICICI Foundation & CNBC-TV18 Inclusive India Awards 2012. In 2016 MelJol was once again awarded Financial Inclusion Awards for Advancing Financial Inclusion by Promoting Financial Education among Children by CNBC-TV18.
