About Me

Hi, I’m Madina Bi , and if you know me, you know that sports have always been a part of who I am. At Maitrayana Charity Foundation, I work with adolescent girls and young women, enabling them to find their voices, choices, and power through sports and life skills.

Appeal

It’s never been easy for women in our society to simply choose what they want to be. I consider myself privileged because I grew up with a parent who encouraged me to make my own decisions and take responsibility for them. Yet, I often wonder, “How many girls truly get that opportunity?” “How many have a supportive ecosystem that allows them to dream freely and live confidently?” Because when society can’t control you, it often finds ways to break your spirit — making you question your worth, your path, and your choices.
That’s why I’m fundraising for Maitrayana Charity Foundation. We work to create gender equality by empowering girls and young women and by building an ecosystem that supports their full potential.
I’ve been working with Maitrayana for the past two years, and every day, I witness bold, strong stories of change — girls who now speak up for themselves, negotiate with their parents about their dreams, and take charge of their futures. These stories move me deeply. They remind me why I do what I do and why I’m fundraising.
I’m running for every girl who is yet to discover her strength, for those who are finding their voice, and for those who still need an ecosystem that believes in them.
