About Me

Hello everyone, my name is Tanya Duckworth. This is my 3rd year working as a School Principal with an NGO called iTeach Schools in Pune. I have been in the education sector for over 8 years now and am a fitness enthusiast! My love for long distance running stems from my father's love for it, being in the air force he would go for long runs almost every single day. I believe the running community is a powerful, close-knit community that brings people together and I wanted to run my first ever full marathon with TMM to help us raise 5 lakhs to keep fighting this battle against educational inequity.

Appeal

We provide access to free secondary education to underprivileged students and ensure that they get to and through college in order to attain sustainable careers and lead better lives. Currently, iTeach Schools has 9 Schools in Pune and 4 in Mumbai and is going strong to bridge the gap in secondary education.
