About Me
I have been actively engaged in the social sector since 2004, and since 2014, I have had the privilege of contributing to the impactful work at SNEHA. Prior to joining SNEHA, I garnered experience in esteemed development sector organizations such as Committed Communities Development Trust (CCDT), Rashtriya Swasthya Prabodhini (RSP), Samuha Samraksh Bengaluru, and Ranbaxy. My roles have spanned diverse sectors including HIV/AIDS, immunization, school dropouts and education, newborn health, collaboration with stakeholders, Maternal and child health, Volunteers Engagement and Nutrition, working across rural, urban, and tribal sectors.
Armed with a Master’s degree in Social Work from St. Aloysius College, Mangalore, and postgraduate diplomas in HR & Administration from TISS, Mumbai.
During my tenure at SNEHA, I have held various roles, initially joining the 'Arogya Sarita' Programme as a Program Coordinator. Subsequently, I played a pivotal role in establishing the Healthy Cities Programme at P North ward, Malwani, and the Village Child Development Centers at Kasara under the Malnutrition Management Project. Additionally, I actively contributed to the capacity building of SWABHIMAN team members (a Bengaluru-based NGO) on Malnutrition Management.
My professional ethos revolves around the power of collaboration. I have successfully forged partnerships with community organizations, governmental bodies, and stakeholders to amplify the impact of social initiatives.
Health and sports are my top priorities as they keep me physically strong and mentally balanced. I believe a healthy body and an active lifestyle lead to a productive life.
