About Me

Hello friends, I have been running for last 15 years; having completed tens of marathons and half-marathons over the period. Separately, I have been involved with a few NGOs to support causes for poverty reduction, hunger and malnutrition alleviation as well as children's education. This year, I plan to run the Tata Mumbai Marathon to support CRY's initiatives to support underprivileged children. I am initiating the process with a small contribution of INR 10,000 and look forward to your support in making this mission yours and of course successful.

Appeal

In January 2026, I’m honoured to run the Tata Mumbai Marathon with a mission far bigger than the finish line — I am running for CRY – Child Rights and You, an organisation dedicated to ensuring every child in India enjoys a happy, healthy childhood. CRY was founded in 1979 and has since grown into one of India’s most trusted child-rights NGOs, working across multiple states to safeguard children’s rights to education, nutrition, healthcare, protection, and participation.

With your support, CRY has impacted millions of underprivileged children, partnering with communities, parents, teachers, frontline workers and governments to create real, lasting change. Collectively, CRY has reached over 4.7 million children, enabling access to schooling, protection from exploitation, improved nutrition, and safe environments to learn and grow.

CRY’s journey celebrating the right to joyful childhoods is beautifully captured in the Happy Childhoods – #BachpanKiDhun video — a reminder that every child deserves the freedom to laugh, play, learn, and dream.
